The sixth edition of the We Are Electric! convention

The National Science and Technology Museum of Catalonia (MNACTEC) and Sol Roig are organising the sixth We Are Electric! electric mobility convention, this year focusing on railway transformation, innovation and sustainability. This edition will explore in greater depth the historical relationship between railways and energy resources, and the far-reaching change affecting a mode of transport destined to play a key role in future mobility. The session will take place on Thursday, 21 October, from 9:30 to 18:00, both in-person and online.

The convention will address issues such as economic reactivation through freight transport; the conflicts affecting some routes; new European connections; the profound change by railway companies into mobility managers; digital transformation and deregulation of services, alongside technological changes in the sectoral industry, new manufacturing materials, and designing the trains of the future.
