Del 20 d’octubre de 2025 al 30 de juny de 2026 el MNACTEC estarà immers en unes importants obres de millora i es tancaran al públic els espais expositius.

Initiation of the BCIN procedure for Vapor Aymerich

The former textile factory was designed by Lluís Muncunill and built between 1907 and 1908

The Department of Culture published in the Official Gazette of Generalitat de Catalunya the resolution by which the proceedings are initiated to declare Vapor Aymerich, Amat i Jover, headquarters of the National Museum of Science and Technology of  Catalonia (mNACTEC) in Terrassa, a Cultural Asset of National Interest in the Historic Monument category. The same resolution stipulates the outline of protected surroundings and opens up a period for public information.

According to Law 9/1993 of 30 September of Catalan Cultural Heritage, the most important assets of Catalan cultural heritage, both movable and immovable, must be declared of national interest by the Generalitat de Catalunya Government.
