Del 20 d’octubre de 2025 al 30 de juny de 2026 el MNACTEC estarà immers en unes importants obres de millora i es tancaran al públic els espais expositius.

Circontrol donates a cutting-edge charger

The aim is to explain the technological know-how behind electric vehicle charging

On Thursday, 22 September, the local manufacturer based in Viladecavalls, a leading producer of Circontrol electric vehicle charging equipment, donated one of its cutting-edge devices to the National Science and Technology Museum of Catalonia (MNACTEC). The charger now forms part of the collection of the Terrassa-based museum, which can place it on public display however it chooses.

The donation specifically comprised an eNext wall box, one of the star products manufactured at Viladecavalls, which in 2021 won a prestigious iF International Forum Design Award, having been launched onto the market in 2018. The charger gained international recognition thanks to its innovative, minimalist design, and is now one of the biggest sellers in the household and car park segment.
