CANVIS EN L'OFERTA EDUCATIVA DEL CURS 2025/26

Del 20 d’octubre de 2025 al 30 de juny de 2026 el MNACTEC estarà immers en unes importants obres de millora i es tancaran al públic els espais expositius.
Fins al 20 d’octubre es mantenen totes les activitats, els tallers i les visites guiades inclosos a l’oferta educativa i a partir d’aquesta data es reduiran les activitats disponibles. Consulteu les dates de reserva a la pàgina de cada activitat.

2nd MNACTEC Inspira photography competition prize winners

The 1st prize in the competition went to Francesc Íñiguez

The National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (MNACTEC) would like to express its thanks for the interest and effort of all the entrants in the MNACTEC Inspira photography competition, which took place on 14 and 15 October within the context of the European Heritage Days. The competition invited photographers to take on 4 challenges at the former Vapor Aymerich, Amat i Jover steam-powered factory: photographing the colours white, green, red and blue.

The jury took a very positive view of the quality and general creativity of the 29 entries submitted for the competition, and ultimately chose the following winners:

1st prize: Francesc Íñiguez. He was handed a Fent País “Everything you love about Catalonia” gift box.
Runners-up: Rubén Mitjavila and Marcel Marsal. Winners of a Fent País "Live, feel and share" gift box.

The jury will make a selection of all the photographs presented, to be shown at the MNACTEC as part of the official Àlbum Festival programme, which will be held in Terrassa from 4 November to 3 December 2023.

The jury was made up of:

Paulo Cacais. Visual artist and contemporary art curator. Artistic director of the Àlbum Festival.
Sonia Giménez Bellaescusa. Photojournalist.
Eulàlia Palau Tur. Head of the MNACTEC Communication, Publicity and Activities Department.
