This work shows the last 150 years of history of the vast territory between the source of the Llobregat river, in Castellar de n’Hug and its mouth in Prat de Llobregat, characterized by the pace of transformation and urbanization of industrial colonies.
The colonies came to be, grew and were developed in many different ways. They have transformed the valley into a top heritage space, not without complexity: towns and cities, generations of entrepreneurs and working families, long work days, labour demands, celebrations, etc.
